Your savings with NoteFlow

Cloud AI charges per call.
NoteFlow doesn't.

Because the AI runs on your computer, NoteFlow can offer unlimited AI at a flat price — while the cloud competitors charge $14 to $30 per month. See your number below.

Same workloads, same number of meetings and chats — the cloud tools charge you per seat, per month, per call. NoteFlow runs on your computer, so the marginal cost of one more meeting is zero.

How we calculate

Every estimate on this page is deliberately conservative. We would rather show you a lower number that you can defend in your head than a higher number that overpromises.

What we count: each meeting you record (duration in minutes), each Notebook chat turn where the AI replied, each AI-generated artifact (Study Guide, FAQ, Briefing Doc, Timeline), and each successful WhatsApp self-chat AI reply.

How we price cloud equivalents: for each cloud competitor we take the published monthly list price and divide it by a typical-month usage baseline (20 meetings, 200 chat turns, 5 artifacts, 50 WhatsApp turns). That gives us a conservative per-action USD. If you used more than the baseline in a given month, your real savings are higher — most cloud plans hard-cap usage above the per-action equivalent.

What we don't count: vision model calls, embedding generation, or RAG chunk retrieval — these are tied to local model capacity, not cloud spend. We also don't count setup time, onboarding, or model download.

Important: competitor list prices are verified as of the date shown on the calculator and may have changed since. Your real bill from any cloud provider will depend on the plan, add-ons, and seats you actually purchased. This page is informational only and is not financial advice.

Common questions

How do you calculate my savings?

For each cloud competitor we take the published monthly list price and divide it by a typical-month usage baseline (20 meetings, 200 chat turns, 5 AI artifacts, 50 WhatsApp turns). That gives a conservative per-action USD. We multiply by your actual usage from the calculator on this page and subtract the NoteFlow cost (Free: $0; Pro: $9.99/yr prorated to the window). The result is the lower bound — if you used more than the baseline in a given month, your real savings are higher.

Why is NoteFlow free when the cloud tools charge by usage?

Because the AI runs on your computer, not in a data center. NoteFlow doesn't have per-call infrastructure costs to amortise, so we can offer unlimited AI at a flat price that cloud competitors cannot match. The Pro subscription covers engineering, support, and Microsoft Store fees — not inference.

Is the calculator accurate?

It is conservative by design. The per-action USD is derived from list prices divided by an assumed baseline, so it understates the per-call cost most cloud providers actually charge at high volume. The headline number is the upper bound of what you would save — your real savings will almost always be higher.

Do these numbers include my NoteFlow Pro cost?

The calculator shows "Free" savings (NoteFlow at $0). If you subscribe to Pro at $9.99/yr, your real savings are the headline number minus $9.99. Pro pays for itself with one or two cloud-equivalent meetings.

Where do you get the competitor prices?

From each competitor's public pricing page, verified as of the date shown on the calculator. When a competitor changes their pricing, we update the table and bump the "as of" stamp. We never use promotional or enterprise pricing in the comparison.

Does the in-app counter match this page?

Yes. The savings card on the NoteFlow Home page uses the exact same model — same per-action USD, same assumptions. Your real number grows automatically as you record meetings, chat with your Notebooks, generate artifacts, and reply over WhatsApp.
