At NoteFlow, privacy is not a feature — it is the foundation of the product. This policy explains how we handle your data. In short: your data never leaves your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

NoteFlow is designed to operate entirely on your local Windows computer. We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

Audio recordings or meeting transcripts
Your notes, documents, or exported files
Contact information from your WhatsApp whitelist
Usage data, analytics, or telemetry
Personal identifiers or account credentials

2. Local Data Processing

All AI processing — transcription, summarization, document chat, and document generation — is performed on your device using on-device AI. No audio, text, or document content is transmitted to our servers or any third-party cloud service for processing.

Raw audio captured during meetings is automatically deleted after transcription and processing. Only your notes and transcripts are retained, stored locally in an encrypted database on your computer.

3. No Account Required

NoteFlow does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. You can use the app immediately after installation without any registration.

4. Microsoft Store Billing

If you choose to subscribe to NoteFlow Pro, your payment is processed by the Microsoft Store. We do not handle, store, or have access to your payment information. All billing, subscription management, and cancellation are handled through your Microsoft account.

5. WhatsApp Integration

The WhatsApp AI Bot feature connects to your existing WhatsApp account using the official WhatsApp Web protocol. AI replies are generated locally on your computer and sent via your own WhatsApp connection. NoteFlow does not intercept, store, or relay your messages through any third-party server.

6. Telemetry and Analytics

NoteFlow does not include any telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, or remote logging. We do not track how you use the app, which features you access, or how often you use it.

7. Data Portability

You can export your notes and transcripts at any time to Markdown, plain text, or the clipboard. Your data is stored in open formats and can be backed up, transferred, or deleted by you directly from your computer.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Because NoteFlow does not collect personal data, we will not notify you of changes via email.
